Quick-Attach50 2" Receiver Hitch - Front Mounting System
The plough mounting system features a robust bracket that attaches to the chassis at the front of the vehicle using existing mounting points.
The bracket is usually located elegantly under and rear of the front bumper (see left) with the female socket sealed with a durable/removable plastic cover when the plough is not in use.
This front mounting may also be used in conjunction with the front 50mm ball hitch assembly for accurately manoeuvring trailers in restricted areas and mounting a front quick-attach winch.
It can also be used for front mounting a Meyer spreader and many other applications.
Each 2” receiver hitch is made specifically for the vehicle to which it is being fitted. If the plough needs to be used on more than one vehicle, each one will need a receiver hitch and wiring harness. Both can be purchased separately.
With Meyer's exclusive Hands-Free Ploughing (HFP) on the Power-Angling DrivePro, operating a snowplough is safer and more convenient. Hands-Free ploughing automatically raises and lowers the mouldboard when you shift your vehicle into drive or reverse so you can keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. And only Meyer has it. What else would you expect from a company with over 85 years of experience in the snow and ice control business?
